The overall length of the loaded cartridge is critical to both function correctly through the pistol and to maintain safe pressures. We used Frontier Complete Metal Jacket ( CMJ ), Complete Metal Jacket Flat Point ( CMJ FP ) and Lead Round Nose ( LRN ) bullets. The 9mm bullets had to be seated deeper a bit so as not to contact the start of the rifling. The IPSC minimum Power Factor for Minor is 125 and for Major is 170. The loading data was put together for IPSC Practical Pistol Competition shooting, but can also be used for any type of pistol shooting.

REMEMBER
If you increase the overall length you will DECREASE the velocity and pressure.
If you decrease the overall length you will INCREASE the velocity and pressure.
Unique Reloading Data
The following 9mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP calibre loads were assembled using Alliant Unique powder, using Frontier 9mm, .40 and .45 bullets. They were tested in 9mm CZ75 SP01, .40 STI and .45 STI pistols. The velocities were recorded using a CED Millennium M2 Chronograph.| CALIBRE |
