The Smith & Wesson ( S&W ) Model 625 is a six shot double action revolver chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. The 625 will headspace the .45 ACP cartridge in the chambers without use of full moon clips, but since the extractor star cannot engage the rimless cartridge, full moon clips are needed to facilitate ejection.
