Ghost Stinger
Ghost StingerOne of the new holsters from Ghost is the Stinger, which has been developed for competitive shooting sports. It is appropriate for IPSC sport shooting in the categories of Production and Standard. It will also perform in the new IPSC category of Classic Division for M1911 single stack pistols, which went live on 1st January 2012. It will also comply with USPSA rules in the USA.
Coloured black, the Stinger is made of injection moulded polymer, which is thermo formed to the dimensions of each specific pistol, with adjustable retention. The belt attachment part of the holster is derived from the Superghost Ultimate IPSC competition holster, so it guarantees compatibility with its stable mate. With the same belt adjustments as the Superghost Ultimate IPSC holster and adjustable retention, it gives a fast and safe draw. Thanks to an aluminium plate that attaches the holster to the belt attachment, it is possible to adjust the holster in several angles.
The Ghost Stinger will securely retain the pistol. The two screws on the side of
the holster allow the retention level to be adjusted
Once the pistol is inserted in the holster the amount of cant, or the angle the pistol and holster sits at, can be adjusted. The retention of the pistol is adjusted by two screws. This adjustment will alter the required force needed to draw the pistol and will also ensure that it is securely held when engaging in strenuous activity.
The Stinger is available for a range of pistols including the Glock 17 and CZ75 SP01

On the beep the competitor can make a rapid draw from the Stinger
I have used this holster for the past few months with a .45 ACP STI Sentry pistol and it is suitable for use in IPSC Classic Division. I have also used the Ghost Stinger with 9mm CZ75 SP01 Shadow and 9mm Glock 17 IPSC Production Division pistols. It securely holds the pistol when engaged in the physical activity that occurs in a practical pistol competition and enables you to perform a snag free draw. It also has the advantage of being half the price of the holsters that see wide spread use in IPSC competition shooting.

Ghost Magazine Pouch
Ghost IPSC Classic Division Magazine PouchOne of the issues when competing in IPSC Classic Division is being able to carry enough magazines. In IPSC Major Calibre you can use .40 S&W, 10mm and .45 ACP magazines with a maximum capacity of eight rounds. In IPSC Minor Calibre you can use 9mm magazines with a maximum capacity of 10 rounds. Using single magazine pouches would mean having pouches going all the way around your back until they would be in contact your holster.
The Ghost Classis Division magazine pouch allows you to securely carry five M1911 magazines
Ghost came up with a solution of retaining five M1911 magazines on one belt retainer. The Ghost IPSC Classic Division Magazine Pouch has three pouches and two magnets. The pouches have a tensioning retaining device to stop the magazine from falling out while you are running. Also when running the magnet is powerful enough to hold the magazine in place. The magazines are held with a level of retention to make the draw a smooth process. This five-in-one magazine pouch enables you to carry multiple magazines utilising a minimum amount of space on your belt.
The belt retainer uses a click adjustable retention plate that will lock down securely
on your gun belt and securely holds the magazine pouch in place

As well as the three magazine pouches – two magnets version, Ghost also make a three magazine pouches – one magnet version and a three magazine pouch version. Single magazine pouches are also available.
