This article contains information on reloading .308 Winchester calibre using Hodgdon BL-C(2) and H4895 powders. Two different types of bullet were used; 146 grain FMJ bullets and Lapua 168 grain BTHP Scenar bullets. BL-C(2) is a spherical propellant was developed for military use in 7.62mm NATO ammunition, which is commercially known as .308 Winchester. When it was first introduced bench rest and target shooters made it success. As well as .308 Winchester it will also work well in .223 Remington.

The 2011 IPSC World Shoot XVI Practical Handgun Championships were held in Rhodes, Greece. Last held in Bali, Indonesia, the World Shoot ( WS ) takes place every three years and was held at the Kalamonas Shooting Range, 18 kilometres south of Rhodes Town. The range was expanded for the WS.

In 2011 the John Browning designed and Colt manufactured Model 1911 pistol in .45 Automatic Colt Pistol ( ACP ) calibre celebrates 100 years in existence. Adopted in 1911, this pistol was the standard US Forces sidearm until it was replaced by the Beretta 92F in the mid 1980’s. Some US Special Forces units are still carrying the M1911. This pistol has seen a lot of developments in the availability of customised component parts and methods of manufacture.
